The Toys of Flannel
PSDI NEWS, (January 12, 2010) Toward the end of 2009, precisely on December 21, 2009, an event titled "The Toys of Flannel" held by a group of students PSDI (Study of Interior Design Program) from ISI Yogyakarta. This educational activity charged contains an art workshop to make a doll made of flannel, with dacron stuffing materials. Objective of this activity is the sixth grade students in elementary Bangunrejo, Sewon, Bantul, where these activities take place. Dimas Abhimanyu, a student army in 2008, which acts as the head organizer, said that these activities aim to stimulate the creativity of elementary school children, especially in creating handraft or crafts such as dolls flannel.
In addition, these activities are also part of the agenda for a management lecture courses that require students to organize an event participants at the end of the lecture. According Rahmawan D. Prasetya, SSN., MSI., Lecturer pengampu a Management course, with the existence of these activities, students can expect to experience as well as group dynamics can apply management theories therein. It is also expected to support their skills to work in teams as part of a professional interior designer.
